STUDIO A FITNESS CLASS INSTRUCTORS
I have been passionate about fitness since I was a little girl and throughout childhood I was very active in sports or some form of exercise. In 1997 I obtained dual college degrees in Nursing and Health Fitness. Primarily working in the health care industry since I graduated from college, my circumstances changed in 2011 allowing me to refocus my efforts back to what I truly love. My husband and I purchased the St. Charles Athletic Club in January of 2011. Due to lack of adequate space in the gym for large group fitness classes, my dream to open a fitness studio was born. In September 2015 after nearly four years at separate locations, the gym and studio have merged after major gym renovations took place. Mark and I have been happily married for twenty years and have three boys: Keagan, Drew & Owen. If I am not at the gym or in the studio, you can usually find me on the sidelines of a football field, basketball court, or soccer field!

Tonia Stevens – Thirty-five years ago I found an extreme passion for physical fitness. I started with jogging on a daily basis and in time I added weight bearing exercises; the two combined changed my shape, metabolism, and how I felt about myself. I decided to pursue a degree in the health field centering on ones physical well-being: Nutrition/Dietetics. I have worked in hospitals, clinics, public health, schools and long term care facilities and what I love the most is working with people to become their best physical self. Mike, my wonderful husband and I have 3 awesome sports crazed boys; Izaak, Luke, and Aeron. I am fortunate to be able to be home with my boys shuttling them to and fro while working at Studio A which all makes me very happy!
Marcia Schultz – I have been teaching group fitness classes for 20+ years and can honestly say I have loved every single class. I’m very passionate about everything related to health, fitness & especially exercise. All of the group classes I’ve taught over the years are like an extended family for me and for those that attend. We look out for each other and motivate one another to keep coming and work towards our goals. I was born and raised in St. Charles and now live in the country between Elba and Plainview. My husband and I are part owners of Brewskie’s Bar & Grill in Utica. I also work at the P-E-M School District in the District Office. We have one son, Bradley – 20, who attends college & plays football at UW-LaCrosse. I’m excited to extend my classes back to St. Charles, I’ve missed so many “family members” in class and look forward to sweating with them all again.
